How to participate
To be eligible for the contest you simply have to perform a set of tasks as specified in the instructions on each task. As you go through the specified tasks you gain entry points in the random draw pot. The more entry points you gain, the higher your probability of winning prizes. (Please note that prize providers are not eligible to enter the contest so as to avoid any bias issues.)
During the duration of the contest, tasks will be revealed which will be posted on SocialDN.com and the contest post. Each task will be worth a certain amount of points. Each point is like a raffle ticket. You can only win one prize unless there are more prizes than participants. The reason for this is so EVERYONE get a chance to claim a prize. Though getting more points ups your chance at actually getting a prize.
The First Task
Sign Up for the News Letter (1 point) then write a comment that you have done so.
This task is mandatory. If you do not complete this task then you are not eligible for the contest. If you have already signed up for the newsletter please just comment below and use the email you used for the subscription. This is important because this is how you will be able to claim your prize and how your points are tracked throughout the contest.
The contest starts on Tuesday December 23rd and will run till Friday January 23rd, 2009. Winners will be announced in the following week.
